Jos Wils // Nightmare
The generation of Jos Wils was born at the eve of World War I. Images of terror, anxiety and death were an inherent part of their youth and often developed into themes they further explored in their later artistic careers. Especially the haunting image of immanent death was a theme that Jos Wils developed very early in his artistic career.
